As it currently stands, those of us here have 1 of 3 choices for Triumph service, etc. In no particular order: a 3 hour ride to Baxter Cycle in Marne, IA (my favorite); a 3.5 hour ride to Belle Plaine Motorsports in Belle Plaine, MN; or a 3 hour ride to Fargo, Nort Dahkohtah, eh.
It opens the 19th of April.  I'll be there for the free hotdog for sure. 
oh... and the dealership that is expanding is MidAmerica Motoplex. They already carry Kawasaki and Yamaha motorcycles. They also have lots of wave runners, 4 wheelers, etc. The orange and black brand is right next door.
| I notice when I arrive at a typical rally all of the HD riders bow down down out of respect. My friend (an HD rider) says that I'm mistaken and that the HD guys are bending over to pick up rocks to throw at me. Thankfully, I have yet to be hit by a rock and if need be I can out run them all.

Great news. We just got a new local dealer here in Grand Rapids. They also sell Yamaha and Motoguzzi.
I had tried to talk the Kalamazoo dealer into going in on a GR dealer with me, but he is more interested in expanding in Kalamazoo.

It's Fox Powersports on 29th street. They have two buildings and the one on the left is now dedicated to Triumph (actually there are a couple of Motoguzzi's in there).
They have a good supply of Triumphs (and have already sold close to a dozen), but are having a hard time getting RIIIs. they are light on accessories, but give them time. I'll likely still do most of my business with LifeCycle, but it will be nice to have a place close by for filters, oil, etc.
